Landscaping and Construction

The Jo-Anne Hilliar School of Landscape Design has been successfully training students nationwide since 2000. We offer courses on Landscape Design (from introductory to professional level), Drawing, Horticulture, Gardening and staff development courses as well as an excellent Business Practice course.

The design school operates at venues in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Mauritius and offers courses throughout the year. These courses are continually updated in line with contemporary trends and in line with the educational demands of the green industry.

Addresses the business side of running a successful landscaping company and covers topics from marketing and administration to staffing strategies and quoting.

Gardening for Bio-Diversity Correspondence Course R3 500
This course covers the concept of gardening the natural way using indigenous plants over exotics, organic pest control, threatened plant species and water wise gardening.

The David Stevens International Landscape Design Correspondence Diploma R7 000
This is a comprehensive design program covering all aspects of landscape design.
