A stunning perennial with tall stems, covered with large foliage and ending
with striking flower spikes. These consist of many bright red bracts, around
tiny white flowers. This long-lasting flower spike is seen most of the year.
A. vittata (55 - 85cm) is known as the Variegated ginger and has white banded foliage.
