Subtropical regions only with wind-protection.
Requires regular watering during warm seasons, keeping soil moist, but less in cooler seasons.
Well-draining, fertile soil.

Watch out for mealy bug.
Propagate form division when not in flower.
With permanent humid, warm and moist conditions, the Flamingo lily flowers
almost continuously. This stunning plant produces scarlet spathes and heart-
shaped foliage. Other varieties provide colours like white, salmon and red to pink.
A. scherzerianum (35 - 45cm) with scarlet spathes and a higher tolerance for cool temperatures.
