Planting position: Full sun or semi-shade.
Suitable for all growing regions, except areas with humidity.
Requires regular watering, keeping soil moist.
Well-draining soil with added lime and complete fertiliser below root level.
Cutting back lightly after flowering.
Spring applications of complete fertiliser.
Watch out for snails.
Propagate from autumn-sown seed, or tip cuttings after flowering.
The Purple rock cress covers itself with masses of purple, pink, red or white
flowers. With dense, greyish-green foliage, it is also ideal as a ground cover.
The flowering period is during spring, but often carries on throughout the year.
