Requires regular watering (less during germination period and when heads are firm).
Well-draining, compost-enriched loamy soil and grass clippings mulching for the seedlings. Add 2:3:2 to preparing beds, at a rate of 65g.m ² and apply liquid fertiliser applications fortnightly if needed.
Manipulate foliage for sun-protection to the curds.
Propagate from seed.
Harvesting is done from 5 months after sowing and immediately when the curds are well developed. Cut the curds as they ready.

Cauliflower plants produce a head of creamy-white curds on a single stem, surrounded by tough leaves. This vegetable is eaten in numerous forms, either cooked with sauce or in soups, stews and salads. The outer large leaves are removed before cooking.
