Planting position: Full sun or light shade.

Harvesting is done from 2 - 4 months after sowing; some should be cut when still slightly immature. Cut the firm heads with 2 outer leaves and remove the stumps.

Similar to the common cabbage, however the Chinese cabbage’s fine leaves are longer and slimmer. The looser packed heads have a faint, mustard-like flavour. Use in salads and as for the common cabbage. The Chinese cabbage originates- and is much used in Asia.
