Requires moderate watering during growing season, and less during winter. Potting mixtures of soil-based and perlite. High-light-intensity. Two monthly applications of fertiliser during growing season.
Propagate from tubers.

Thread-like, trailing stems emerge from the tuberous base and carries small, heart-shaped greyish-green leaves. The foliage’s upper sides are silvery and the under sides purple. Small, tubular flowers are produced in a reddish purple colour.
