Clytostoma callistegioides Argentine trumpet vine

Planting position: Full sun or semi-shade. Wind-protected area.
Requires regular watering, especially during summer and flowering period. Well-draining soil, enriched with compost. Early spring application of complete fertiliser. Prune after flowering.
Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings in autumn.

This quick-growing evergreen is densely foliaged with glossy leaves, and climbs with tendrils. The paired spring and summer flowers are soft purple and creamy.
