Requires regular and thorough watering, especially until established. Well-draining soil. Spring applications of bone-meal. Pruning after flowering of about a ¼ of the plant’s size.
Propagate from autumn soft tip cuttings or spring-sown seed.

This evergreen covers itself with tiny white winter flowers. Its has attractive foliage and is very hardy.
