This evergreen epiphytic plant does not have a resting period and flowers during winter and spring. These stunning, textured blooms appear in great numbers and are long-lasting. The hooded petals and sepals are yellowish-green and darker green spots cover the petals. The lip however is cherry-red with a centre of yellow and dark green spots.
