Cyrtanthus obliquus Knysna lily

Indigenous; 25cm
Planting position: Full sun (cool areas) or semi-shade (hot areas). For areas with good summer rainfall.
Requires regular summer watering, but kept dry during winter. Well-draining, sandy soil.
Propagate from early winter division.
The Knysna lily has beautiful summer umbels that are “bleeding” yellow, orange and green. These flowers are up to 7cm long, and it's the South African Institute of Parks Administration’s emblem.
