This foliage plant has greyish-green leaves, margined boldly with white, and during winter sometimes seen with a soft reddish blush.
D. tasmanica (1,2m) has small, pale blue summer flowers, emerging from the clumps of narrow, strap-like foliage. Autumn berries are shining blue and popularly used by florists.
