Planting position: Full sun. Areas without severe frost.
Requires regular winter and spring watering, but kept dry during summer. Well-draining, compost-enriched soil.
Propagate from division after flowering.

This corm produces scented spring flowers, tubular and greenish-yellow. to clear yellow.
‘Alba’ with large, bright white flowers.
‘Leichtinii’ has faded yellow flowers.
F. x hybrida varies in colours from orange, rose pink and pink.
