This popular plant bears circular flowers on thin stems during spring. Appearing from the finely cut, dense foliage are these flowers in shades of pink or white.
G. sanguineum (20cm) is hardy and bears spring- to summer flowers of purplish-crimson colouring.
G. subcaulescens (15cm), being a true geranium with dark centred, crimson-red flowers in spring and summer.
G. wallichianum (30cm) has large purple flowers from summer to autumn.
