Planting position: Full sun or semi-shade. Wind-protected area. Areas without extreme heat and drought.
Requires regular watering, especially during dry spells and seasons. Well-draining, compost-enriched soil. Spring applications of complete fertiliser. Late summer pruning.
Propagate from autumn cuttings.

This round, bushy shrub is evergreen and bears scented, white spring flowers, followed by red berries in autumn. Its foliage consists of paired, oval leaflets.
