Propagate from spring-sown (in situ) seed.
During summer, this annual bears soft, faded blue flowers amongst its fine foliage.
These blooms are ideal for cutting, and are followed by pretty seedpods.
N. hispanica (35cm) is known as the Fennel flower, with rich blue flowers, each with
prominent red stamens.
