Requires regular and thorough watering during dry months/spells. Well-draining soil, mulched with compost. Annual application of complete fertiliser. Light pruning back of old wood.
Propagate from autumn soft tip cuttings.

An evergreen shrub with lilac flowers for most the year, except in winter. The long, arching branches are clothed with small oblong leaves. Excellent ground covering.
