The rosemary is bushy and perennial with aromatic, small and sturdy, narrow leaves with silvery undersides, used for flavouring purposes. This antiseptic herb stimulates digestion and soothes nerves. The winter- to spring flowers is faded blue.
R. lavandulaceus (55cm x 1m) is a dwarf rosemary that covers the ground densely. The evergreen leaves are small. It is in flower for most of the year with pale lavender blooms.
