A fast growing tree that bears tussles of yellow flowers for most of the year, followed by long, thin seedpods.
T. capensis has pairs of serrated leaves, consisting of smaller leaves. Its trumpet-shaped flowers are yellow to red, appearing mostly in winter and spring.
