The Silver speedwell produces terminal racemes of blue flowers during
summer and its foliage is characteristically silvery-grey.
V. spicata (45cm) with blue or pink spring- and summer flowers, borne on spikes. The leaves are slim and toothed. This perennial is quick growing, drought-resistant and hardy, ideal for coastal gardens.
